French electro house artist Dilemn

French electro artist Dilemn has been kicking out the jams on my iPod lately. I first discovered Dilemn through my partner in crime John Blaze who showed me his track Pitiless. I was blown away by the precision production skills that I was hearing while at the same time getting my face melted by how dirty the track was. Recently, Dilemn was on remix duty for the new Shadow Dancer track “Cowbois” and, as usual, delivered the goods. His most recent EP “The Dreamer” featuring the B-side “Flying Guitar” was released on the Future Perfect label earlier this year.

Boys Noize returns with his second artist album, POWER, which releases in the US on October 6th. After listening to the promotional copy, I know this album is going to be a big hit in the dance music scene. The opening song “Gax” moves like a freight train, a steady electro bass with a shimmering arpeggio over the top. Of course, everyone that has seen Boys Noize live in the past months has no doubt heard “Kontact Me”. Aside from the thumping bass, a signature Boys Noize vocoder declares “COME WITH ME. DO YOU REMEMBER?.

The following tracks “Starter” and “Jeffer” were released as singles on an EP a few months back and have been rocking many-a-dancefloor. “Transmission” was recently featured on a Boys Noize Essential Mix which you can download from the Boys Noize Records blog. Other notable tracks on the album include the techno-flavorted “Nott” and gritty, epic choir sounds of “Heart Attack”.
